BETH LEONARDO principal
After graduating from Connecticut College in 2000 with a
BA degree in Fine Arts, Beth got her start in graphic design
working for a local advertising agency on the Big Island of
Hawaii. Realizing that her passion is branding and product
packaging, she moved to San Francisco in 2002 to focus
her career in this direction.
In 2005, she received her second degree, a BFA in package
design, from the Academy of Art University and immediately
joined the reputable branding and package design firm,
Michael Osborne Design where she has worked as a graphic
designer until early 2008.
Along the way Beth has also worked inside, on the client
side, in marketing communications at Texas Microsystems,
an industrial computer hardware manufacturer, and in sales
distribution at Macromedia, a leading software company,
giving her strategic perspective on the entire branding and
marketing process.
Among her many branding and design projects at Michael
Osborne Design, she has worked on projects for such well
known brands as Robert Mondavi Winery, Wente Vineyards,
Williams-Sonoma, and Miller Brewing Company as well as
a number of soon to be recognizable start-up food and
beverage ventures.
Beth's proficiency at branding and package design attracts
both consumers and critics. Among other critical accolades,
one of her recent MOD projects received a 2008 STEP 100
Award. As the principal at Double Six Design she is committed
to the strategic vision that product packaging is at the core
of, and the ultimate expression of branding.
